My journey

Having lived across several countries and climates, I learned early how light and the seasons shape daily life. I graduated as an architect, specialising in public buildings. After working for nearly a decade on projects of varying scale and scope — including interior design — I first came into contact with Feng Shui.

While initially sceptical, I became increasingly intrigued by its depth and complexity—knowledge rooted in Chinese metaphysics, the I Ching, and Daoism.  In my search for a teacher, I found Derek Walters.

Driven by curiosity about how Feng Shui could enrich architectural design — both in buildings and their surroundings — I continued my studies. Around 2000, I became a direct student of Master Chan Kun Wah, now Grandmaster and one of the leading Imperial Feng Shui experts. I studied Xuan Kong Da Gua (hexagram Feng Shui) with him and, following my graduation, deepened my knowledge through further specialised studies in Feng Shui and Chinese astrology.

Gradually, a new perspective began to take shape. I started to look at architecture differently — becoming aware of underlying layers and relationships that are not immediately visible. I also explored European traditions — geomancy and sacred geometry — studying with Kalteiß, Domvogt Reuters, and Professor Architect Hensch.

I later specialised in building acoustics — another field where, when properly applied, the effect is invisible, yet clearly perceptible. In many ways, this parallels Feng Shui. Chi remains unseen, yet we perceive the atmosphere of a place — whether supportive or not. We resonate with certain qualities and reject others, often instinctively.

Today, this journey has given me a unique perspective. I no longer see just the lines on a floor plan — I see architecture’s hidden layer. As the ‘go-between,’ I translate what I find there into environments that are functional and energetically aligned with the people who live or work in them.
